partner collaboration

United Way always encourages smart collaboration by creating an environment for regular networking and cooperative relationships among its partners. The goal is increased efficiency in meeting the needs of our community.

Here’s just one example of this collaborative culture in action. In rural Madison County (the Madison Cross Roads area), children have access to fewer resources. Three United Way partners worked with United Way and Publix Supermarkets to establish a collaboration.

When they became aware that they were all serving the same children, they began to coordinate more closely and offer more robust services to improve their quality of life. This is often needed to prepare a child for learning.
